Modelový Parlament Slovenska
We are students who care about politics and public life. We want young people in Slovakia to understand how the state works, and to feel they have a say in it. Our conferences give them room to think critically, to debate, and to try out what civic engagement looks like in practice.
Founder and Chair
I founded MPS as a 16-year-old high-school student. It bothered me that so many young people had no interest in politics, and I wanted to show them how the National Council, and the state as a whole, actually work. I have led the team since day one, and along the way I have learned an incredible amount and met amazing people who keep pushing me forward.
Logistics, planning and internal organisation
I have been part of MPS from the very beginning. I joined because I enjoy organising events. We try to make politics and the workings of the state more accessible to young people, and I am glad it is working: more and more young people take part in what we do, and many of them leave with a much stronger interest in what is happening in the country.
