Privacy policy

1. Who processes your data

The controller is MPS - Modelový parlament Slovenska, Podhorie 306, 013 18 Podhorie, Slovakia, company ID (IČO) 42221528 ("MPS" or "we"). Please send any data protection questions to info@modelovyparlament.sk.

Contact and partnership forms. Name, email, where relevant your organisation and the content of your message. We use them only to reply and follow up. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in answering enquiries (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) and, for partnership talks, steps prior to entering a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).

Conference registration. Registration runs via Google Forms; the data collected is listed in the form itself. We use it to organise the conference (selection, assigning parties and committees, communication). Legal basis: performance of the participation terms you accept by registering (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). If a participant is under 16, we require the consent of their parent or legal guardian for processing their personal data and taking part in the conference (Art. 8 GDPR and Section 15 of Slovak Act No. 18/2018 Coll.).

Event photos and videos. We publish photos and videos from our conferences on the website and social media. The legal basis is your consent, given in the registration form (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). You can withdraw it at any time by writing to info@modelovyparlament.sk; withdrawal applies to future publications.

Website analytics. Only if you consent in the cookie banner, we use Google Analytics 4 for anonymous traffic statistics. Legal basis: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). You can withdraw consent at any time via Cookie settings in the footer.

3. Who we share data with

We never sell data. We use these processors:

  • Netlify, Inc. – website hosting and form handling,
  • Google Ireland Limited / Google LLC – Google Forms (registration), Google Workspace (email) and Google Analytics (only with consent).

Some processors may handle data in the USA. Transfers rely on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.

4. How long we keep data

  • form messages: until your request is resolved, at most 2 years,
  • conference registrations: until the end of the calendar year in which the conference took place,
  • analytics data: 14 months (Google Analytics setting).

5. Your rights

You have the right to access, rectify and erase your data, to restrict processing, to data portability and to object to processing based on legitimate interest. Where we rely on consent, you can withdraw it at any time. Just write to info@modelovyparlament.sk.

You may also lodge a complaint with the Office for Personal Data Protection of the Slovak Republic, Hraničná 12, 820 07 Bratislava, dataprotection.gov.sk.
